About Me

kylagh rhianna tew

Hi, I’m Kylagh, an interior design graduate with a passion for creating spaces that feel thoughtful, atmospheric, and emotionally engaging. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Interior Design, where I developed a strong foundation in concept development, space planning, FF&E, rendering, and design presentation.

I am currently completing my postgraduate studies at Queen Mary University of London, graduating in September 2026. My dissertation explores how interior design strategies influence consumer experience and behaviour within commercial retail environments, reflecting my interest in how spaces can shape the way people move, interact, and emotionally respond.

My work is often guided by the belief that interiors can support people beyond aesthetics. This was central to my capstone project, where I explored how educational environments can be designed to empower women and children through comfort, accessibility, safety, and a sense of belonging.

Across my design and visual arts projects, I draw inspiration from interiors, architecture, fine art, and photography. Designers such as Kelly Wearstler, Billy Baldwin, and Frank Lloyd Wright have influenced the way I think about atmosphere, proportion, materiality, and the relationship between a space and its surroundings. In my artwork, I am also inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi’s emotional storytelling and Ansel Adams’ ability to capture contrast, light, and a strong sense of place.

With experience in interior design, showroom styling, staging, and creative marketing, I approach each project with both a spatial and visual communication mindset. I am especially drawn to interiors that feel layered, refined, and full of character, while still being functional and inviting.
